atp6 spoiler: Buckle down

Secret Actions, specifically, are cards we have tried to evolve over time by increasing the trigger points in a game for them to be revealed. This started with Survive in ATP-2 which triggers when a character would be damaged, and evolved in ATP-4 with the addition of “The Protocols” that trigger when your opponent plays a card.

Buckle Down is an anti-Energize Secret Action along with some support against Seekers and Heralds of the meta-game. “Move” damage is something that has very little recourse in the game and over time it is a form of damage that has been given a fair amount of additions with not enough cards to combat it. In ATP-6 we were looking to aid in the effort against this type of damage on several different axis's. Reinforced Hull is an armor, Buckle Down is a Secret Action, and we can’t forget ATP-6 Hot Rod also prevents damage being moved to him specifically. In aggressive decks, Buckle Down can also provide a potential +2 to defense with new cards KO’d after being played, Fighting Dirty and Fevered Edge for example.
